Regal Lily are a 3-pc female rock band whose members will just finish high school before coming to Canada in May. They are definitely still raw and unpolished as musicians but show maturity and talent well beyond their years. Fans of earlier material by Kinoko Teikoku and Chatmonchy will fall in love with Regal Lily as they perform the same intensely emotional and powerful style of shoegaze-drenched pop.

They convey a very shy, cute and adorable persona on stage and their music is extremely soulful and melodic but when you least expect it, they sideswipe you with a devastatingly powerful assault of guitar distortion, thunderous bass and chaotically intense drumming. This insane contrast from serene and melodic to bursts of sonic violence emanating from one of the most adorable bands on the planet will boggle your mind but put a huge smile on your face.

Regal Lily show definite signs of potential in joining MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, Chatmonchy, tricot and Akai Koen as one of the most important and influential Japanese female bands of all time.
